TESTING APPLICATION PROCESS

Email bcollingwood@joshuainstitute.org to request the Testing Application to be emailed to you.

*Please note that JI does NOT provide medical diagnostic testing.

However, we also do NOT REQUIRE a medical diagnosis for admission to our programs.

1.  Submit the Testing Application to the JI Office Manager:  bcollingwood@joshuainstitute.org 

2.  Schedule any needed Testing. 

       a.    Upon receiving the Test Application, you will be contacted in 3-5 business days to schedule any further testing.
       b.    Tests are typically scheduled within 2-4 weeks of the test application being submitted, depending on both your schedule and the JI Test Administrator’s schedule. if both the Cognitive AND the Academic Achievement/Oral Language tests are needed, they will be scheduled for two separate days, as each test takes approximately 3 – 4 hours to complete.
       c.    Payment is expected via Cash or Check on the day of testing.

5.  Discussion of test results.

       a.   Test results are typically ready in 4-6 weeks after testing is completed.
       b.   Our Director of Ed Services will schedule an appointment to review test results and possible Ed Therapy options.
       c.  When you decide to pursue Ed. Therapy or the Academy, you will need to fill out the correlating application if you have not already done so.
